About the Author

T.S Flynn grew up in an Irish academic family in an English seaside town where "every day was like Sunday". He emigrated to Australia in 1993 and has worked in Afghanistan, Mozambique, the Solomon Islands, South Africa and Indonesia for government, humanitarian organizations and academia. He holds an MBA from Cranfield University in the UK and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He has one son, who he adores. He has a passion for 80's punk, Irish and ska music as you might adduce from the chapter titles to this novel. His favorite author is Bernard Cornwell. This book is the first novel of "The Regiment Trilogy" that charts John Turner Flinn's progress through the convict system of the 1840's and 50's. It is based upon a lot of research and delving into original records. He'd love to hear from readers via Facebook. https: //www.facebook.com/TSFlynn/
