The Machines Will Rise.

A decade has passed since John Connor helped Judgement Day and save mankind from mass destruction. Now, 25, Connor lives "off the grid"--no home, no credit cards, no cell phone and no job. Connor has no record of his existence. There is no way he can be traced by Skynet--the highly developed network of machines that once tried to kill him and wage war on humanity. Until, out of the shadows of the future steps the T-X, Skynet's most sophisticated cyborg killing machine yet. Sent back through time to complete the job left unfinished by her predecessor, namely the T-1000, the determined T-X is a machine that is as relentless, as is her human guise beautiful. Now Connor's only hope for survival is to annex with the Terminator, T-101, his mysterious former assassin. Together they must triumph over the technologically superior T-X and forestall the looming threat of Judgement Day--or face the apocalypse and the fall of civilization as we know it.

this movie was better than i thought it would be. a pretty good script kept the action moving although the new terminator was a bit boring. still, i enjoyed the humour that was put into the movie, especially the glasses arnie found at the start. the crane scene was well done, but other c. g. i. effects were a little unrealistic, all up a good end to the series.

After a long break from Terminator 2; the Terminator series adds another film to the legacy. Taking advantage of more up to date special effects leds to some of the most amazing actions scenes ever seen. Arnie returns for the third time, and respect must be payed for him getting in shape for the film. While the new Terminator, a female based on the original terminator and T-1000 models doesn't have the same effect as the others terminators, but is still quite amazing. The only real flaw in the movie is Arnie's script; which is one bad joke after another. A complete waste of Arnie. Other than that this movie is up there with action films.

More than 10 years after 'Terminator 2', John Connor now exists only as a drifter - living 'off the grid', so no more Terminators from the future can hunt him down. Unfortunately, SkyNet does send another one back - and this one is called the T-X, even more powerful & advanced than the dreaded T-1000. However, another CSM-101 Terminator is also sent back to protect John against the T-X. Now, Skynet is patiently assuming control of civilian computer systems, under the guise of a computer virus. John has also met his future wife, Kate Brewster, whose father - a U.S. Air Force General - is in charge of the military computer systems & is leery of up linking SkyNet. However, when the SkyNet virus infects the U.S military computers & leaves the country open to attack, the machines begin their horrific takeover. Soon a nuclear war will result - and the war against the machines will begin. Can the outdated CSM-101 Terminator eliminate the highly advanced T-X - or will a darker future await man following the nuclear attack?

In the year 2029, a computer called Skynet is fighting against a human resistance, after having nearly destroyed the rest of humanity in 1997. Skynet has found a way to send some of it's warriors, called Terminators, back in time. This is the story of the Terminator sent to kill the resistance leader in 1995, while he is still a child. The resistance sends a reprogrammed Terminator back to 1995 to protect the young man. The question is, can they survive against the new prototype liquid metal Terminator while preventing the creation of Skynet?

the last movie in the legendary terminator series is still pretty good (this is one role where arnie swarznegger can afford to not have any expression on his face) but with out a doubt can not compare up to the first and second terminator movies. finally in this last movie arnie becomes a 'good' guy in a sense.

I still prefer terminator one, but this is still a decent movie as it shows just how good arny still looks at like the age of sixty. And now hes a mayor of cali i mean cumon. Anyway, if your a fan of terminator youve gotta add this to end the movies, it has a really cool ending, and its like everything is just a dead end. Great visuals, and the robot chick is sexy...great movie

I went in very skeptical when I first saw Terminator 3. Overall I think it is one of the best action films in the past 10 years or so and a very good edition to the Terminator series. In HD it looks and sounds awesome as can be. The extras are not in HD which is a let down. That is really the only bad thing I can say about this disc. If you like Arnold or Ternimator I highly reccomend this. I wish Terminator 1 and 2 were on HD DVD but they sadly are only on Blu-ray.

Even if there were no Terminator or T2, T3 would be a horridly mediocre movie. The original Terminator was an exercise in imagination conquering budget limitations, while T2 showed what could be accomplished if imagination were wedded to an unlimited budget. T3 shows what a tremendous budget with little imagination gets you - a terminator whose unique ability is to make her fingers into sharp points. Whoopee! There are narrative lapses too numerous to mention, such as our non-tech hero operating an atom smasher. Or a heroine who doesn't know exactly what her father does for a living traipsing into the super secret underground & armored military installation where he works. T3 operates best as a self-administered IQ test: if you thought this movie was good, you should seriously consider remedial education.

yeah well i must say i expected absolutely nothing from this movie and funnily enough it ended up being rather good and even managed to fit in with the other terminators, which with the whole writing with present day time and future time and past movies and everything is actually quite a feat in itself, nick stahl plays a good john connor could do without the claire danes but hmm so what cool flick anyway.
